Military Dog Statue Dedication. Full video of the dedication ceremony at the Veterans Memorial on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from the Trophy Club Women’s Club to unveil the new monument of a valiant military dog who has lost his handler.
The bronze statue is the culmination of years of collaboration between the Trophy Club Woman’s Club and the artist/sculptor Susan Norris. Susan is also the official artist for the Boy Scouts of America. Her art is inspired by the natural world and her love of animals.
Karl Monger led the pledge of Allegiance for those in attendance. Alice Murphy gave the opening address with Carol Jansen as the keynote speaker. Rhonda Labor led the unveiling. A contingent of about 40 Trophy Club Citizens were in attendance.
