Studied Aviation Management at Florida Institute of Technology

Since moving to Trophy Club in 2010, I’ve continuously been involved with several volunteer organizations and the public service sector, to include Wounded Warriors, Fallen Soldiers’ Families, Snowball Express and Skyball. Spreading awareness is near and dear to my heart…I’m a founding Board Member of Hope Kindness Community (HKC).  I’ve been a small business owner for many years, while at the same time flying as a Pilot for American Airlines since 1998. I was lucky enough to fly the long-retired B727 and went on to hold type-ratings on the  S80, B737, B757, B767 and my current aircraft, the B787 Dreamliner.

I’ve held various committee positions for my Pilot’s Union (currently serving on the Critical Incident and Response Team) and mentor young girls and minorities in the aviation industry. In addition,  I was an executive board member for Beck and Medlin PTAs and presently serve on the executive board for BNHS PTSA. I’ve been Team Mom for many a season of Bobcat Football and Baseball and am currently a member of BNHS Football Booster Club and Vice President of BNHS Wrestling Boosters.  Before  being elected to Town Council May 2017, I was a board member for the Town of Trophy Club Crime Control & Prevention District.

I grew up as a “Georgia Farm Girl” and enjoy the outdoors with my family…camping, fishing, and yes, even hunting! I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Institute of Technology and two Master of Science degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

I believe I have a calling to service and enjoy serving my community on Council.  Trophy Club is truly a great place to live…I want to do my part to help keep it that way.
