The unofficial election results for the local elections have been published. The final tally as reported by the Town of Trophy Club is:
Mayor:
Alicia Fleury = 4,108 votes – Winner
Eric Jensen = 3,331 votes
Place 1:
Greg Lamont = 4,566 votes – Winner
Rhylan Rowe = 2,535 votes
Place 2:
Gregory Wilson = 5,512 votes – Winner
MUD Results:
Place 1
Kevin R. Carr = 1603 – Winner
Torie Stephens-Bonty = 1153
David Stout = 1150
Place 2
Bill Rose = 3565 – Winner
We reached out to all candidates for a statement, however we had a short deadline to publication, so we only managed to receive a response from three of the candidates, David Stout, Greg Lamont & Alicia Fleury. The short deadline was based entirely on our own work schedule and should not reflect up on the candidates inability to respond in any way.
Mr. Stout simply expressed his Congratulations to Kevin Carr.
Mr. Lamont directed us to his Facebook page where he wrote,
“I want to thank my supporters in helping me get elected and the voters for placing their confidence in me.
I especially want to thank my wife Janet who was by my side (standing on the corner) as we got to meet and greet many of the voters during our campaigning.
It was a remarkable turnout.
As a Town Council Member we are non partisan elected Officials, I will represent all of Trophy Club and its residents.
I would like to personally thank my opponent Rhylan Rowe for running a clean campaign and staying with the issues and plans that the voters wanted to hear from us.
While this seemed like the election that would never end, it is time to look and move forward to continue to make Trophy Club a Great Place to Call Home.”
